Pure Leaf Flower is a licensed New York adult-use dispensary at 40-28 Murray Street in Flushing, Queens, a short walk from Main Street and the Flushing–Main St 7 train station. In-store shopping with budtender guidance

We serve adults 21 and older who show a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID. A budtender can help you look through what we have in stock. Tell us your experience level and how you prefer to consume, and we will show you a few options that fit.

Every product we sell comes from a licensed New York cultivator or processor and is lab-tested for contaminants and labeled with potency as New York State requires.

First-time visits and product education

If this is your first dispensary visit, tell your budtender. We will go over the basics with no pressure: how flower, vaporizers, edibles and tinctures differ, what the THC and CBD numbers on a label mean, and how to start. We follow the state's guidance to start low and go slow. The state suggests a new consumer trying an edible begin with 2.5 to 5 milligrams of THC. Edibles can take hours to reach their full effect, so wait before taking more. See the OCM information for consumers.

Help reading labels

A New York label lists the state's universal symbol, THC and CBD amounts (milligrams per serving and per package for products you eat or take by mouth, a percentage for products you inhale), ingredients, a lot number, an expiration date, the processor's license number, required warnings, and a QR code linking to the lab's Certificate of Analysis. Bring any package to the counter and a budtender will walk you through it, or read Reading Labels first.

Accessories

Ask a budtender about accessories for the products you buy, or if you are not sure what something is for. New York asks every consumer to store cannabis locked, out of sight and out of reach of children and pets, in its original child-resistant packaging.

ID and age verification

We check a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID before every sale. We cannot sell to anyone under 21 or to anyone who appears visibly intoxicated. There are no exceptions. We accept:

• A driver's license or non-driver ID from any US state or territory, the District of Columbia, the federal government, or a Canadian province
• A passport from the United States or another country
• A US armed forces identification card
• Another valid government photo ID that shows your date of birth, such as IDNYC

We cannot accept expired cards, photocopies or a photo of an ID. Visitors from out of town are welcome, but cannabis bought here has to stay in New York. It is illegal to carry it across state lines.

What we do not do

• No medical advice. Our staff are not health care providers and cannot tell you whether cannabis is right for a health condition or how it might interact with medications. Adult-use products are not medicine and are not approved to treat any condition. Talk to a licensed health care provider. New York runs a separate medical cannabis program, described at cannabis.ny.gov/patients.
• No consumption on the premises, inside the store, just outside it, or in a vehicle.
• No sales to anyone under 21, no matter who is with them, and no sales to anyone who appears visibly intoxicated.
• No sales over the state limit. New York allows an adult to buy up to 3 ounces of cannabis flower and up to 24 grams of concentrate in a single day.
• No untested or out-of-state products.

Before you go

Keep what you buy sealed and out of reach while you travel, and do not drive after consuming cannabis or ride with a driver who has.
