First-Time Visitors: What to Expect at Pure Leaf Flower

Pure Leaf Flower (legal name Mirae Corp) is a New York State licensed adult-use cannabis dispensary, License No. OCM-RETL-25-000458, at 40-28 Murray Street in Flushing, Queens, a short walk from Main Street and the Flushing–Main St 7 train station. This page explains how a visit works, from the ID check at the door to storing your purchase at home. You must be 21 or older to enter or to buy.

This page is general information for adults 21+ about legal cannabis in New York. It is not medical or legal advice, and it does not claim that cannabis treats, cures, or prevents any condition. Talk to a licensed healthcare provider about your health.

Before you come: 21+ and a valid ID

New York dispensaries may sell only to adults 21 and older, and every customer is checked at the entrance. Under state rules, acceptable identification includes:

A valid driver's license or non-driver ID from any U.S. state or territory, Washington, D.C., the federal government, or a Canadian province
A valid passport issued by the United States or any other country
A U.S. armed forces identification card
Another valid government-issued photo ID that shows your date of birth, including IDNYC

Your ID must be current. Expired IDs, photographs of an ID, and school IDs cannot be accepted. You do not need a medical card, and visitors from other states are welcome with valid ID. How a visit works

Check in. Show your ID at the door.
Browse. Look over what is on the shelf, or review the online menu ahead of time to see current stock.
Talk with a budtender. Our staff can describe product form, cannabinoid content, terpene profile, flavor, and how each product is used, and can point you to the lab results on the label. Staff cannot give medical advice or recommend cannabis for a health condition.
Purchase. Your receipt shows our license number and itemizes New York's 13% retail excise tax as a 9% state share and a 4% local share. Adult-use cannabis is exempt from regular sales tax. Source: NYS Department of Taxation and Finance.
Head home. Products leave the store sealed in child-resistant packaging. Keep them sealed until you are somewhere you may legally consume.

Purchase and possession limits

New York allows an adult 21 or older to buy up to 3 ounces (85 grams) of cannabis flower and up to 24 grams of concentrate in a single day, and dispensaries may set lower limits. Concentrated forms, including edibles, vape products and oils, count toward the 24-gram concentrate limit. What is on the menu

Every product we sell comes from a New York licensed cultivator or processor and is lab-tested for contaminants and labeled with potency as New York State law requires. Flower and vape products list THC and CBD as a percentage; edibles, tinctures and other non-inhaled products list milligrams per serving and per package. See Reading Labels and Consumption Methods.

Start low, go slow

Cannabis affects everyone differently, and a higher THC percentage does not mean a better experience. OCM suggests that someone new to cannabis who is taking an edible start with 2.5 to 5 milligrams of THC, and that after inhaling you wait 5 to 10 minutes before taking more. Edibles are slower: labels carry the warning that effects may be delayed by four or more hours, and OCM advises waiting at least two hours before consuming more. In-store etiquette

No consumption on the premises. New York law does not permit consumption inside a dispensary.
Keep products sealed until you are home. Do not open or consume them in a vehicle.
Please do not photograph other customers or staff.

After your purchase

Do not drive. It is illegal to drive under the influence of cannabis in New York. Do not drive after consuming cannabis or ride with an impaired driver. Plan ahead for a sober ride or use public transportation.
Consume only where it is allowed. Smoking or vaping cannabis is prohibited anywhere tobacco smoking is prohibited, and in motor vehicles, businesses and restaurants, school grounds, federal property, and most parks and beaches.
Store it safely. Keep products in their original child-resistant packaging, locked, out of sight and reach of children and pets, and separate from everyday food and drinks.
Accidental ingestion. Contact the Poison Center at 1-800-222-1222, or call 911 in a medical emergency. If a pet has ingested a cannabis product, contact your veterinarian immediately.
If you take too much. The effects are temporary. Hydrate, rest, and do not take more. Contact the Poison Center at 1-800-222-1222, or 911 in a medical emergency.
Keep it in New York. Cannabis cannot be transported across state lines, even between states where adult-use cannabis is legal.
