Visiting Pure Leaf Flower
How old do I need to be, and what ID do you accept?
You must be 21 or older to enter and to buy, and we check ID every time. New York accepts a valid driver's license or non-driver ID from any U.S. state or territory, the District of Columbia, the federal government, or a Canadian province; a valid U.S. or foreign passport; a U.S. armed forces ID; or another valid government-issued photo ID that shows your age, including IDNYC. The ID must be valid and current. See our First-Time Visitors guide for what to expect once you are inside. Source: 9 NYCRR 123.10.
I'm visiting New York City from out of state. Can I still shop?
Yes. New York does not require residency, so a valid out-of-state license or a passport works. Whatever you buy has to stay in New York: it is illegal to cross state lines with cannabis, even into another state that allows adult use. Source: NY OCM consumer FAQ.
Do I need a medical card?
No. Pure Leaf Flower is an adult-use dispensary, so any adult 21 or older with valid ID can shop. We do not certify patients and we do not dispense medical cannabis. The New York State Medical Cannabis Program is separate, with its own registered organizations, and products there may differ in form, serving size, and pricing. Learn more at cannabis.ny.gov/patients.
Where are you, and when are you open?
We are at 40-28 Murray Street, Flushing, NY 11354, in Queens, a short walk from Main Street and the Flushing–Main St 7 train station. Current hours are posted in-store and on our online menu. Call 646-889-4071 with questions; full details are on our Contact Us page.
Buying
How much can I buy in one day?
New York allows an adult 21 or older to buy up to 3 ounces of cannabis flower and up to 24 grams of concentrate in a single day. Edibles, vapes, and oils count toward the concentrate limit. A dispensary may set lower limits, and our staff will tell you if an order needs to be adjusted. Source: NY OCM. More on limits in NY Cannabis Laws.
What taxes will I see on my receipt?
Adult-use cannabis in New York carries a 13% retail excise tax: 9% state and 4% local. The local 4% collected on a sale in Flushing goes to New York City, which did not opt out of adult-use retail. Adult-use cannabis products are exempt from regular sales tax. A receipt from any licensed dispensary itemizes both excise taxes and shows the store's license number. Sources: NYS Tax Department and NY OCM.
What is on the menu?
Our online menu currently lists flower and pre-rolls, with more categories added as they arrive. Every cannabis product we carry comes from a New York licensed cultivator or processor. Not sure where to start? Our Consumption Methods guide compares the formats, and our budtenders can explain product facts such as form, cannabinoid content, and terpene profile in the store. They cannot give medical advice or recommend cannabis for a health condition.
How do I know the products are tested?
New York requires every lot of adult-use cannabis to be tested by a licensed laboratory for cannabinoid potency and for contaminants such as pesticides, heavy metals, microbial growth, mycotoxins, and residual solvents. Each package carries the state's universal symbol, a lot or batch number, and a QR code or link to the Certificate of Analysis, plus the warnings New York requires. Testing and labeling are legal requirements, not a promise that any cannabis product is safe or right for you. Our Reading Labels guide explains each part of the label. Source: NY OCM.
How can I confirm Pure Leaf Flower is licensed?
Every licensed dispensary must post New York's Dispensary Verification Tool, a teal decal with a QR code, near its main entrance; scanning it opens the state's list of licensed dispensaries. Mirae Corp, doing business as Pure Leaf Flower, holds New York State Office of Cannabis Management Adult-Use Retail Dispensary License OCM-RETL-25-000458, issued December 16, 2025 and valid through December 16, 2027. You can look it up on the state's dispensary verification page. See OCM Resources for more state tools.
Using responsibly
Where can I consume?
In general you may smoke or vape cannabis where smoking tobacco is allowed, such as a private home or backyard, though landlords may ban smoking in their buildings. You cannot consume in a motor vehicle, inside a business (including our store), in restaurants or bars, on federal property including public housing, on school grounds, or in most state parks and beaches. Source: NY OCM Know Your Rights. Details in NY Cannabis Laws.
Can I drive after using cannabis?
No. It is illegal to drive under the influence of cannabis in New York. A first offense carries a fine of $500 to $1,000, up to one year in jail, and revocation of your license for at least six months. New York has no set THC number for drivers; cases rest on observed impairment. Do not drive after consuming cannabis and do not ride with an impaired driver. Plan ahead for a sober ride or use public transportation, and keep purchases sealed and out of reach in the vehicle. Using cannabis and alcohol at the same time can make you more impaired than using either alone. Source: NY DMV.
How long do edibles take to work?
Edibles are digested first, so they act more slowly than inhaled products. Effects can take one to four hours to reach their peak and may last several hours longer. New York limits adult-use edibles to 10 mg of total THC per serving, and the state advises new consumers to start low and go slow, beginning with 2.5 to 5 mg and waiting at least two hours before consuming more. A higher THC percentage does not mean a better experience. Our Edible Dosing guide explains serving sizes and what to expect. Source: NY OCM.
How should I store cannabis at home?
Keep products in their original child-resistant packaging, locked, and out of sight and reach of children and pets. Store them apart from everyday food and drinks so nobody mistakes an edible for a snack, and put waste in a closed-lid trash bin. Cannabis kept at home must be in a secure place that people under 21 cannot access. Source: NY OCM safe storage guidance.
What if someone consumes more than intended, or a child or pet gets into it?
If someone accidentally consumes cannabis, contact the Poison Center at 1-800-222-1222, and call 911 in a medical emergency. Contact your veterinarian immediately if a pet has ingested a cannabis-containing product. Over-consuming can be overwhelming; the effects are temporary. Find a calm place, hydrate, rest, and do not consume more or drive. If you are concerned about your own cannabis use, contact the New York State HOPEline by texting HopeNY (467369), calling 1-877-8-HOPENY (1-877-846-7369), or visiting oasas.ny.gov/hopeline. You can also talk with your health care provider or a substance use counselor.
Legal in New York
How much cannabis can I legally possess?
Adults 21 and older may possess up to 3 ounces of cannabis and up to 24 grams of concentrate in public, and may keep up to 5 pounds of cannabis, or the equivalent in concentrate, at home in a secure place that people under 21 cannot access. An adult may give another adult 21 or older up to the public amounts without compensation, but trading or bartering cannabis for anything of value, including "gifting" it alongside a purchase, is illegal. Can I grow at home?
Yes. Since June 26, 2024, adults 21 and older may grow up to 3 mature and 3 immature plants each, with a maximum of 6 mature and 6 immature plants, twelve in total, per private residence no matter how many adults live there. Plants must be at your private residence in a secure location that is not plainly visible from public view, and homegrown cannabis can never be sold. Landlords may restrict growing on their property. Licensed dispensaries may sell seeds and clones from licensed New York sources; check our menu for what is currently available. Source: NY OCM home cultivation overview.
Can I travel with cannabis?
Within New York you may carry cannabis within the possession limits. No one in a vehicle may consume cannabis, so keep products sealed and out of reach while driving. Cannabis cannot be transported across state lines, even between states where adult use is legal, and it may not be taken onto federal property. Source: NY OCM.

Can I order online, pick up, or get delivery?
